Our aim

On voit deux silhouettes sur deux Segway, et l'un
		désigne l'horizon du doigt à l'autre

Our objective was to cross the United States of America from north to south along the Rocky Moutains chain by Segway.

We think it’s too easy to say “This is not for me”. We would like to prove that with good preparation, it is possible to travel simply without busting your budget and without being an athlete. Adventures are not only for professionals even if their journeys are quite amazing. We think anybody should be able to get up and say : “This time, it’s my turn”.

And since we mentioned budget, we would like to remind readers that this adventure was not for profit. We successfully found some sponsors and we handled all other costs (food, hotels, etc.). The accounts haven't been completely done yet, but any excess will be donated to Handicap International. This also includes any income from the video documentary that we would like to make.

Let's remember that Segway Inc. categorically refused to support us by any way. They put forward that it would have been a bad advertising because of my disability.

Itinéraire

This map shows you a draft of our itinerary.

We wanted to go, so and we were looking for mountain in a country which has a language we spoke. The Rocky Mountains met that requirement.

Then we collected information about the area, especially about climate and population density. We decided to start from Missoula (Montana), next to the Canadian border, and then go south following the Rocky Mountains for 1500 miles, i.e. 2500 km, crossing the Wyoming and Colorado and ending our trip in Albuquerque (New Mexico), next to a longthe Mexican border.

We left for two months, driving six days a week.

-Tetrade Consulting

TETRADE Consulting was founded in May 2000 by Laurent VALENTIN and Xavier LEMAIRE.

Having both implemented information systems, they came to the conclusion that the analysis of business requirements should not be separated from the implementation of the ERP solution which meets these same needs.

TETRADE Consulting is therefore the organization able to create and develop skills and methodologies, promoting a combined approach of a business and ERP implementation and ERP and putting them to work for its clients.

Guess wath? I didn't compose it by myself, as every modern student, I did a copy-paste from their website. Ashaming isn't it?

So I invite you to read the original version: www.tetrade.be.

logo de ACM

-ACM

ACM has numerous activities, especially car adaptation for disabled persons.

They also "pimp" trucks. It's as impressive as the MTV show "Pimp my ride" on MTV, except that you don't have to stand Xzibit for half an hour, a pure pleasure.

They fixed the made-to-measure aluminium boxes on our Segways, and our trailer.
